EVE’S DAUGHTERS | Poetry and paintings by Wendy Brown-Baez and Ashley Dull

“EVE’S DAUGHTERS interweaves the poetic form with the serenity and resilience of nature”

Friday, April 6, 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Tarnish & Gold Gallery, The Foundry Building

349 13th Ave NE Minneapolis, MN  55413

Paintings of light-infused natural settings illuminate the displayed poems to produce a feeling much quieter than that of the city. Artists, Dull and Brown-Baez, strive to celebrate their strength as women, the power of nature, and the innate wisdom and intuition that comes from connecting to the earth, to each other, and to a deeper inner truth. Poem scrolls will accompany the paintings, giving a rare opportunity to highlight writing as a visual art.

The show will run through Saturday, April 14, and will close with an afternoon of live poetry reading. View the show during open gallery hours: Friday and Saturday 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm or by appointment.Image
